WDW Marathon Weekend Kid's Fest Questions

I'll be going to my first Marathon weekend in 2012, first marathon ever actually!

Anywho, does anyone know if you need to supply proof of age for the Kid's fest dashes, or mile run?

Also, do they do these on both Friday and Saturday? Are they exactly the same?

We are already going to WDW in Dec. for a week and I am trying to limit the days they will be out of school so I think we are going to fly in on Friday night of marathon weekend and then fly home on Monday. We can't switch the trip to Jan as it is a 30th anniversary trip for my parents and the marathon will be with my IL's.

My kids did the Mickey Mile this past Marathon Weekend and loved it. Here is a link to my report on it

We didn't ever have to show any proof of age. They only do the Mickey Mile on Friday. They do the shorter distances on both Friday and Saturday.
