I am planning on going to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure January 9-12 (Mon - Thurs).

Looking online, it looks like this is the week immediately following the Walt Disney World marathon.

Historically, I have read that January and February are not extremely busy in the park. I was wondering how much of an impact the marathon could have on crowds.

Does anybody have any input? Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have never been to universal in the days following the marathon but I have been at the Disney theme parks at that time. It was really not crowded. I did see individuals with their marathon medals in the parks but the longest I had to wait for any attraction was about fifteen minutes. I would imagine that Universal has similar crowds this time of year.

I don't think the marathon has any real affect on Universal crowds.

We're going for the first time Jan 8-9! :cool1: Hopefully we can cram everything in with just a day for each park. Have fun!!
