Hi! I am a teacher, and the board of ed just decided to change our school calendar for next year. Instead of breaks in February and April, they have decided to give us the last week in March off and let us out earlier in June. I know that college spring break is in March, and was wondering how busy it is at that time. How about the weather? Dh refused to go in Feb or April because of it being so busy, and July is so hot (dd's will be 5 and 2 in May). I thought that MAYBE March would be a great time to go. What do you think? :confused3 Anyone been there at that time of year? Thanks! Shannon

 :goodvibes We go the last week of March every year - spring break for kids and our youngest daughter's birthday. Crowded, yes, and weather is usually cool (bring your coats, it can get very chilly then). It is not as crowded as some periods and not hot, so we love it. Enjoy!!! :dance3:

Easter is at the end of March next year, so that will be the busiest time of the whole year. WDW itself will be fine but that travel part will be bad. Its the one time I would tell you to drive.

That will be the week after Easter in 2008, and it's my understanding that the weeks before & after Easter are right up there in crowds with XMAS, which means incredibly large crowds. Our Spring break has also moved to the 3rd week in March instead of 2nd for 2008 and will be the week before Easter, so for the first time in 6 years, we'll be skipping Disney for Spring Break. :sad2:

We will be going from 3/29-4/6 this year, so the week before Easter which is the 8th. When we get back I'll write again and let you know how bad it was crowdwise and what the weather was like.

We were there 3/25-3/29/06 and even though Easter wasn't for a few weeks, it was very crowded, more crowded than I've ever seen, but I don't go in the summer or at the holidays, so I know I don't know what real Disney crowds are! The weather was nice, though, not too hot and not too cold, I think we wore pants and sweatshirts in the evenings but during the day it was fine to be in shorts.
