WDW Lanyards...HELP!

Ok, so I want to get Disney World lanyards for three kids (2 boys, 1 girl) and need help. Can anyone tell me if they have recently purchased Disney World Lanyards? Can you tell me the theme of the lanyards you bought, where you purchased them, how much they cost and if they come with the plastic ticket holder or if that is extra? I tried posting on another board and everyone told me to go to ebay, but I'm asking specifically about Disney World lanyards. Also, is there a big assortment in resort gift shops? How about at World of Disney? Sorry for so many questions, I'm just really trying to lock in my budget...even though I know buying lanyards at WDW is not budget friendly. Thanks guys, for ANY and ALL info you can provide me with!

They have all kinds of lanyards at WDW and the resorts in the gift shops. I have bought the pirate lanyard. They come with pins or without, with plastic or not. You could spend hours figuring out what you want.

I know there is a tinkerbell lanyard, pirate, mickey, etc. Just the lanyard costs about $6, no pins or holder. But I could be wrong. You can call guest services and they have a dept for merchandise if you want exact prices.

Don't forget there is also the covented YOMD lanyard too!

the walmart near disney also sells disney characater lanyards and they have the ticket holder with them for considerably cheaper than on resort pricing.

I picked up a Tink and Cars lanyard at Dollarama (Canadian store) for $1 each. I bought the pins off of ebay. I did order a couple lanyards with charms (or whatever the thing at the end is called) from the Disneystore online for around $5-8 each on sale, however I was very shocked when I got them and saw how huge the medal on the end is and I don't think I'll be wearing one with that huge thing hanging on it! One was Stitch and the other was Mickey.

The disney stores near where you live would be a good start. I have bought lanyards off ebay and got good deals. The outlet store in St. Augustine had the best selction of lanyards and pins we have been to so far. Much cheaper than WDW or DTD.
