My mom and dad gave me quite a hard time about knowing where everything was in all four parks without looking at a map.

Anyone else have a map in their minds? I shouldn't be ashamed right? Maybe I need WDW rehab?:wave2:

YES! I could put on a blindfold and still lead you around all four parks! In fact, I think I know them at least as well and probably much better than the amusement park here!

Yes, I know where everything is (even snacks stops and bathrooms) without looking at a map. Now I do get maps everytime we go - just for souviners.

Whenever we split up in the parks, I make sure that my son - yes he is only 7 - goes with my Husband. My husband has a horrible sense of direction and my son knows where everything is and how to get there. He spends so much time between trips looking at the maps, talking about our last trip, planning what he wants to do on our next trip - that he has everything memorized and has since he was 4 or 5. :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

One of my favorite things is showing others around the parks. My friends love to play "Stump Steve," and I haven't lost yet.
On Memorial Day I visited with four adults and a three-year-old (who had to nap from noon to 4). We managed to experience 6 attractions at MK and 5 attractions at Studios with minimal waits, plus 4 character greetings and lunch and dinner (I always have a backup plan and think on my feet.)

You need rehab man! Just Kidding... But yeah, I have WDW map in my mind. Its like Disney GPS.::MickeyMo

yes, i am definitely a disney junkie. We get maps too and only as souvenirs and i have tons of folded up maps lying around our house. I think i would love to be a tour guide or a disney travel agent because i know the best hotels, and so much about how to plan a disney vacation that im sure i could do it.

Same here. I've only been 3 times, but I generally don't need maps, except maybe to find bathrooms in an emergency. When I talk about my upcoming trip, people can't understand why I would want to keep going back. They always ask me why I don't just get a job down there or tease me about when I am going to move down there. And they are genuinely shocked when I tell them that there is still things I haven't done and favorites I just want to do over and over again.

Some people just don't get the magic.

After five years of spending an inordinant amount of time both on-and-off-the-clock at WDW, there are still things that I haven't done and places I haven't eaten at. I'm getting closer, but it'll still take a while.

Add my name to the potential tour guide list. After 22 trips, I know my way around all the parks as well as the hotels, DTD and the property in general. I just don't understand people who complain about driving on Disney property being difficult.

Ditto for me Steve. Tommorow is trip 24 :) I think they call this contagious disease Disneyitis, don't they? :)

Blessings :)

So I'm a CM, I recently took part in a competition with other CM's about WDW property and sales knowledge, and some of the hardest questions I'll hand over to you guys. If you can tell me the answers then maybe you should have my role instead of me? Anywho get cracking.

1. Where and in which theme park can you find Gui-Tar Dan?

2. What is the name of the first merchandise cart you encounter when entering Disney's Typhoon Lagoon?

3. How many attractions are there on WDW property where you can purchase photo documentation of your experience?

4. Where on WDW property would you find Hourglass Lake?

5. If you were looking for a refreshment while swimming at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, where would you go and what is it's official name?

Well kids message me if you know the answers, and like I said if maybe you should be a cast member?

I only wish I knew the parks like some of you.

I'd like the answer to number three so I can plan accordingly. If you'd like to include the names of said attractions and approximate cost of picture that would be even better! LOL & thanks!!!!!!!

Joshua.

I am sure I am not the only one who would consider being a CM a 'dream job' :)

Blessings,

Thanks but, you know what WDW is an equally opportunity employer and we're always looking for some real great people! pirate:

Wow Joshua- the only answer I know is the SSR one and that's because we just stayed there.

I guess I don't need rehab after all- just more of DISNEY!!!!

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I couldn't do it. It's been too long since I've been there. I do, however, know which attraction is located in which area of the MK. Does that count? :p

Anywho so kids, I'm glad to see that my proposal has peaked some interest. But like I said if anyone is curious about the answers PM me and I'll let you know. Look around the answers are out there, also keep in mind if know at least 2 of them you're definitely CM material, if not more deserving! So like I said before if anyone out there knows some answers lay it on me! pirate:

"Maps? We ain't got no maps. We don't need no maps.
I don't have to show you any stinking maps!"
