WDW Itinerary is gone?

I'm in a near panic. I had been building an online itinerary for a couple of weeks now. I just logged on to Disney's site, and it's gone. All of my favorites are there, but all my ressies, and day-by-day planning is wiped out.

Has anyone else had a problem like that? I feel sick. :(
 
:confused3 I had all mine done and its now missing! Luckily, I found my paper where I'd written my adrs. It happened last weekend after they had the down period.
 
Ugh. I tried to start recreating it, and it said there's already an itinerary under the same name as the new one I was trying to create. So hopefully, it's still there. But I'm going to have to call Disney tomorrow to make an ADR charge for one of my lunches. I guess I'll be able to get everything then. I'm just bummed because I had our plans laid out by walk path to try and coordinate where we're eating, etc. This is our first trip, and I didn't want to find that we were wasting time going from one end of the park to the other to get everything in our list.
 
I"m going to move you over to the Theme Park Strategy Board.

It's like their computer throws out the itinerary and figures you have everything figured out.:confused3
Luckily, I did have everything written down.
I completely forgot about this, until I just read how you lost yours.
Hopefully someone will know how to get it back.
 

The other day for the first time in months I pulled up my itineraries and saw most of my previous trips listed. It let me make a payment on the next trip. I got the receipt of payment email in minutes.

Yesterday I wanted to make another payment. It pulled up my itinerary. My old trips were all gone once again. And it didn't have my last two payments listed, stating I still owe $742 when I owe $342 more. So I called them and they have it right on their computers but the website, once again, is all screwed up. So have patience...your stuff is probably still there but until they fix the site you may not see it.
 
Mine is gone too. Hopefully it is just system updating and it will return.

It use to say See you in however many days and it listed your previous trips. I tried to add a new one and it wouldn't let me. Said it was currently unavailable.

I see it now has the online checkin.

Thank you, I realized after I posted, it was probably the wrong forum (I'm still getting used to things).

Anyway - I called Disney, was on hold for 45 min, but when I finally got through - and absolutely WONDERFUL rep helped me make a couple dining changes, and give me the ressie numbers for all of our other booked ADRs.
 
I spoke to a CM earlier and asked about why my itineraries disappeared? She said the system was updating. Mine also did not indicate how many more days.... And the reason for my call was because my disney vacation was not showing my last payment last week either. She said everything was okay on her end but they must be updating...AGAIN!
 
I am so glad to hear this problem is not only mine! I'm ready to make ADRs, but wasn't sure of the exact count, 91 or 92? days until our check-in. I know I can just call to find out, or do the counting myself, that wasn't really the issue. The issue was signing in to find all our info gone--even past itineraries! Scary.
 
I'm so glad to hear somebody else is having the same problems, I was starting to freak out. Hope they get it fixed soon, we leave in 19 days. It can't even find my login information.:confused3
 
wow... i didnt even know this was a feature of the site! Tells you what a newcomer I am!!! (Our first trip end of April)... hope you get your plans back!
 
At least it's not just me. I had this same problem a couple months ago - it seems Disney was doing things on their end. I've now invested quite a bit of time planning our trip -hope I can get it back. At least I'v got print outs.
 
I am sorry for those who have lost their iteneraries. I know that is nerve-wracking.

After all the web site glitches we've seen lately, and other tech-related issues, I don't know if I could ever trust storing anything soley on Disney's site. Their computer system has proven itself completely unreliable.

I create my itenerary in Google documents & download a local copy that can open in Excel.
 
Whew! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I like using the Itinerary portion of My Disney Vacation. I certainly wish they would make it more robust (and keep it working correctly). It simply blows my mind that a company as big as Disney, and as far-reaching and media-oriented as they are, they cannot keep their web site up and operating correctly. As a software engineer, I think I'd be fired if I managed our company web site like Disney does....... :confused3
 
It seems that the itineraries are back.... but when I open either (I have 2), there is nothing in them... no daily activities, no favorites, and if I try to add something nothing happens. Is anyone else experiencing this? :headache:

It happened to me yesterday, and I was not thrilled. As I was shutting down my laptop I noticed a popup for taking a survey on the the Disney site. It was very lengthy, and asked my about my visit on this day only. I gave them all the feedback that has been discussed on the Dis. Something else interesting, was they inquired by name, other Disney related sites I visit.
 
Yes that is happening to me too. I tried to redo my itineraries since they have no info in them and it won't accept any changes or additions. I emailed them through the contact us part of the website, but of course have not gotten a response. Very disappointing, but typical right now for their website.
 
well i am glad to see it is not just me I thought I was loosing my mind:eek:
