When checking out my member benefits/discounts I see discounts on "Disney Merchandise" at Disneyland, Vero Beach and Hilton Head, but not WDW. I'm curious if we get any sort of "in park" discounts on merchandise at WDW Florida? I see various discounts at Saratoga Springs stores, but I was curious if I were to buy a T-shirt at one of the various shops at WDW (for instance after a ride) would we get a discount for DVC membership?

Not sure where you are looking, but yes, if you have a "blue card", then you can get 20% discount on merchandise almost everywhere (not at third party shops in DS, but some have a discount, maybe smaller, too).
To qualify you need to have the DVC card saved in your Apple/Google wallet and it must show "DVC Y", which means you qualify for Membership Magic.

Perfect! Thanks! We have already saved our DVC card in our wallets and have a DVC-Y. By "third party shops" do you mean like some of the sunglass vendors and smaller stands we see in the park?

Many of the shops at Disney Springs are operated by a 3rd party. Some countries in Epcot are also operated by a 3rd party. These 3rd party shops may or may not extend a discount and if they do, it might be less than the standard 20% off at Disney owned & operated locations.

Oh, gotcha! I didn't pick up that you were talking about Disney Springs. My main concern was getting discounts in the parks for when my kids walk through those gift shops conveniently posted as you exit each ride lol. My DVC membership will pay for itself in a year with a 20% discount on all that stuff lol.

Yeah that 20% really adds up. Especially when you can apply to any purchase. For a while we had the Disney Visa 20% but purchase had to add up to $50 or greater. It was such a pain trying to use it.

Are there discounts on dining within the park as well? I think I saw somewhere 10-15% at most places? And any small chance that there is discounts on alcoholic beverages? lol

No DVC discounts…or any…on alcohol. But, most TS places give the 10% with a few giving the 15%.

I figured as much in regards to the alcohol haha. Does TS = table service? We tend to frequent the quick service places so I'm scanning through the member discounts to see if there are any quick service discounts at the moment. Looks like most of the discounts are sit down "table dining" places

No DVC discounts at QS locations. The closest I have found is for treats at Joffrey locations…and there are a few places at DS, like Wetzel Pretzel that gives them.

The outside CS at Mexico in EPCOT is the only one that has a 10% discount. The are very strict so you need your member card and ID (Drivers license or like) as a manger has to do the override or at least that was my experience the last time and prior which was 2022 and back.
