WDW in July/August

Hi,
We haven't been to WDW in the Summer for over 6 yrs.
I swore up and down first of all that I would never go back after our horible trip in Dec. But my kids really want to go. WE have to drive my niece back to Fl in Jly or August and I figured we have our AP's so maybe we should go..

Tell me how to break the heat and crowds in the summer.

Hi! Were are going in July/August. We went 2 years ago in Aug and it is definately HOT! Drink lots of water we freeze our water bottles and then bring them to the parks. You can also ge free ice from the carts and restaurants. If you have little ones (or even if not) hit the spots where you can get wet! Or even splash yourself at the water fountain. Those fan/misters really help. Believe it or not. A hat helps too. As for the crowds I can't help. A lot of the Disney Planner books have tips on which days to go to which parks for crowd control. Have fun!
