WDW in Dec

We went to DW for the firts time in May. Loved it so much that I would like to go back for another stay again in May (before my AP's expire).

The problem is that May is so far away form now. So, I was thinking about a possible X-mas trip. We live in northern Ca. so the airfare can be $$$. We loved the Poly,cl and of course (haha) want to do that again......

1. whats the temp's in dec?
2. crowds for 1st part of dec?
3. aprox ap rates?

Has anyone ever done a land/sea or sea/land in Dec?
Would you recomend this and in which order.


P.S. We loved the warm weather, swimming and playing on the beach in May. This was a big part of the vacation.

1. whats the temp's in dec? unfortunately Dec temps can range all over the map...last time I was there early dec quite chilly...this past dec over christmas in the mid 80's...ya never know
2. crowds for 1st part of dec? tend to be light
3. aprox ap rates?If you go at the beginnig of dec this is value season so they usually are very good....this past dec at pop century for one night value season I paid $49based on AP rates right now I would guess that the Poly would be about $225 per night for a garden room

I'll chime in about the weather in early December. It has always been very nice for us. Not necessarily water park weather though. Late December has always been chilly when we were there.
