OK..I'm calling on all you Disney vets. I haven't been to WDW for spring break in YEARS. I was 14 or so, and at that age you don't pay much attention to crowds. How bad are they the week before Easter? And now with fastpass, does it equal out the crowds to non-peak visit? Anything we can do to prepare? Thanks to any and all info!

We went last April and came home on Easter Sunday. We did one day at Magic Kingdom passing through Orlando for a few days and the lines were awful. The fast passes were used up for the day by Noon. When you see the fast pass sign say 6 hours later than the time it is on your watch, you know the park is crowded. I would never go again during Spring Break. We go during the month of August after the kids go back to school in the south. Never have waited more than 20 minutes in any line.

I am preparing for it to be busy, but I hope not as bad as the previous post. We were there for Christmas 2002, and didn't find it to be awful, despite what everyone had told me to prepare for. We will plan out which things we want to do the most and roll with it. Looks like we will be there the same time.

The only time we have ever gone has been at Easter.

Yes the crowds are big, but neighbors just came back from their Christmas vacation and said NEVER again. Sounds like the crowds were very bad over the holiday, so bad that fastpass was gone early in the day. We only found that to be true once during Easter and that was for Test Track.

So it depends on how prepared you are (use fastpass) and plan!

We have never been dissapointed.

We always take breaks during the day.

We know that what we might not get to ride 10 times this year we can do next year!;)

The weather is always great too!

Go when you CAN and enjoy!!

Its Disney!:teeth:

We are headed down 3/30-4/3 --so we will be headed down that week before Easter week. What do you think? Still crowded? any input? Thanks

Del:rolleyes:

Hi Del!

You should be prepared for big crowds, but if you plan it right it should be managable.

Last year my sister arrived a few days before Easter and said that the crowds begin to build towards the end of the week before Easter. We arrived on Good Friday and stayed for the week after Easter. (hope that makes sense, lol)

Again, with proper planning and priority seating it can be done!

Have Fun!:) :sunny:

All I can say is..BUSY..BUSY..BUSY..unless you are going the LAST week in April! Been there and done that and even thought the crowds are wild! Any day is Disney is better than a day at home!

Very well said! Thanks for all your tips and I guess I'll plan out what sites to hit first in all the parks, in off-season visits we just kind of go where we want. The last visit I had was in Sept. '97 and we didn't wait more than 20 min. for anything.

Maybe we'll bump into each other down there!
