I'm going to be in Disney World during the week of April 16th, 2007. It's my birthday (23rd!) on the 19th. Anyone else going to be there during that time?
I know there is a surprise dinner at Le Cellier planned (Family aren't very good at hiding surprises!), and then we are hitting up Pleasure Island in the evening.
Anyone know if Disney does anything special for birthdays? When the reservations were made, they specifically noted and wrote down that it was my birthday. I was just wondering why.
Depending on where you are eating sometimes they will do special things. They might seat you in a "prefered area" like near windows, or close to attractions, they "might" give you a free dessert, sing a song, have someone special (character, diver, band) recognize your B-day, etc.
Although CM's are wonderful at making magic, don't go into it expecting anything. There are always off days and things get overlooked. And the last thing you want is to be dissapointed.
Hey Spotty! Do you have any lgmhpc's (lime green mickey head paint chips) from HD? Would love to run into someone from the board in Disney. We will be there 24-29.
My twins are also celebrating their birthday on the 19th, but they will only be 4 Hope you have a wonderful time at Disney! We are not going until the following week.
