Hey there everybody thanks for all the well wishes.

We got back Monday night from a great week in the world. Weather was fantastic, no lines, buses were great and no crowds until Saturday.

We spent 2 fantastic days with Jeff (gdad) and his family. Jeff and I rode EE 3 times back to back on Friday during AK's evening emh. That ride is quite different when it's dark outside.

The next day we did the new Space Mountain twice. The stand by queue is now interactive.

Took about 2500 pics. I will post once I have gone through them.

So glad you guys had a good time, and so sorry we were unable to join you. Major bummer of 2009 that we had to cancel plans.

Looking forward to seeing lots of great pix from you. I have it on good authority that the D80 was put to good (and frequent) use!

Heh, going along with my observations last trip that Nikon guys always have an external flash attached. And could you guys look any less excited? Jeff, I think you're been going to WDW too much.

I did EE in the dark last trip and it is fun. I have a nice shot IMHO of the "torn up tracks" area but unfortunately I was a few seats back; it would have been fun to get that shot from the front row.

I, for one, can safely say that I have only used my external flash a total of like 5 times, two of which when I was doing "light painting." BUT, maybe your observation only applies to Nikon guys, in which case my lack of external flashiness wouldn't really count. Hmmmmmmm.

The flash is an SB 400 really small compared to most flashes. It stays mounted regardless of use, that's why I like it. When I need it it's there. No fumbling in the bag for it. I think it might have been used a dozen times the whole trip.

And that's about excited as I will ever get!!!!!!!
