WDW has an official square dance caller?

Susan Elaine Parker, the official Square Dance Caller of Walt Disney World, will be a special guest at the "Hats Off to Dancing" event held in Lansing on October 8. Ms. Parker will be the Grande Parader.

The event will feature square dancing, a parade of hats and a cake walk and will be held at the Henry North School.

Why? Where is the square dancing at WDW? They are cutting Fantasmic to three nights a week, laying off entertainers but have an official square dance caller.


At least this story involves CAKE!!

I was hoping this was the extra special Mousefest event you all were planning.......or is the official Square Dance Caller for WDW priced just to high.

oh man, now I am off to cancel my last minute December trip and plan for the cruise. My dreams are dashed.
