WDW half marathon is at 85%, full is at 60% capacity (5/9/07)

I thought there would be a jump in capacity after Minnie...half is now 85% full...any predictions when the half will fill?

I am guessing I have about the beginning of July before I need to decide on the full marathon, but I will definitely keep my eye on this one. I am very tempted to just go ahead and register after seeing all the Minnie and Pig photos...I don't want to miss another WISH group!

Oh, by the way, just signed up for Marine Corps Marathon today!

Ok, I sucked it up & just registered for the Half.
I am going to be in WDW for Chad to do Goofy anyway, so I guess I should do it, right?

I think I will do the 5k too - only because it goes through Animal Kingdom this year. Very cool.

Oh man....I was hoping for more time to decide between the half and the full. I guess I am going to have to make that decision soon or it will end up being made for me.

I'm still sitting and watching the full. I think I have some time to decide. I actually thought they would get a bigger bump in registration from the Minnie. The Disney folks were at the Pig Expo too.

Colleen- congrats on signing up for the Marine Corps Marathon. You're running that next year too, right? That's my plan to run MCM 2008.

Kristi- Yay, for signing up for the half. So the 5K runs through Animal Kingdom. That's pretty cool. Hopefully it's not around the parking lot.

Kristi - Yeah! DD16 wants to do the 5K, but her exams start on Monday, so we're trying not to miss any more school than absolutely necessary. I was hoping we could fly down midday Friday, but we'd have to come Thursday for her to do the 5K. Decisions, decisions! I may wait till the school year starts and talk to her teachers.

I was waivering about signing up last night since I shouldn't be spending any extra cash right now. I got too nervous about the half closing, so I just did it.

Well, low & behold I won $100 on the radio this morning!
See, it was meant to be!

Dave, yes, I will probably do MCM again in 2008, it is just so convenient for me to drive. I sure missed you guys this past weekend! Congratulations on your wonderful performance.

I keep watching... I know I am going to sign up for the full, but I just don't have the extra money right now. DS6 is adamant that he wants to run the 5k this year. I can't believe that it is at Animal Kingdom. I am going to run it with him, that will be so cool.
