I'm a guide book junkie and probably have around 50 on Orlando alone, so it follows that they range from the big players (Fodors, Frommers, et al) to the obscure. Of all those I've bought, these would be my top picks:
Brit Guide to Orlando This is unique in being the only one to approach everything from a Brit's perspective, which translates to considerable content not found in other guidebooks (such as detailed information on the the two Orlando airports, hiring and driving a car, shopping opportunities and their locations to name just a few).
The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World This is extremely detailed and you tell it's written by people who have a real passion for the place. Unlike some of the others, which are perfectly competent but do little other than scratch the surface, this one really gets down to the nitty grityy.
Passporter A totally unique take on the genre probably best described as a cross between a guidebook and an organiser. It focuses entirely on Walt Disney World and includes lots of information which you'd normally only find on internet sites such as this.
The Complete Walt Disney World Whilst the text has a more "high level" feel (that's to say, doesn't seem to be written with the true insider knowledge of the other three), it's beautifully illustrated with stunning photographs throughout. Another in a similar vein is the Eyewitness Guide to Walt Disney World (if you're familiar with Dorling Kindersley publications, you'll know what to expect).
