After much trepidation, our trip is over. What follows is a condensed version of our ups and downs. Starting with our flight, which was delayed about 15 min., but made up time in the air and arrived at MCO 30 min. early. Made our way to DME and arrived at ASMu without a hitch. Got to our room to settle in a bit before grabbing some food. The food court was good.
Our next glitch came with the arrival of our luggage. We got back from eating and found only 2 of 3 suitcases had arrived. Called baggage and were told to call the airline. We attempted to do so for about an hour to no avail while navigating their phone system.
We went to the front desk at resort to see if they could do anything help...they could not get through to United either but said they would pay for a cab to WalMart or Target so we could get some clothes for our DD and DSL. While trying to decide what to do DD finally got through and was asked what the suitcase looked like. She described the item to the United CR and within 45 min. our misplace bag arrived. All this happened because the tag we got from
disney came off and the suitcase went to regular baggage claim. Needless to say we were soooo relieved. More later
