We decided to book a last minute, first time cruise this weekend for the july 20th sail date. We are going to fly down a day early and go to WDW on weds july 19. My wifes work wont allow her to take any other time off to be there longer, so 1 day will have to do. we just got home 2 months ago from a week trip, so its not so bad.

we are taking a red eye and arriving at wdw about 8 am so we can have a full day of fun.

the hard part now the we have the room and cruise booked, is where to eat at for just 1 meal for lunch and dinner.

possibilities are, chef mickeys, crystal palace, 1900 park fare, cape may clam bake, and so on.

if you have other suggestions for a nice lunch and dinner, please help. if you only had 1 day, where would you go??

this is hard to pick 1 for each!

Where are you going? To which park?
Do you want to see the fireworks at any of the parks or are they not important?
How much money do you want to spend?

We will be all over. I told my DW that we are going to do 7 days of fun into 15 hours!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

im thinking we will go to MK first, see POTC ride, then a few others. then go somewhere for lunch, whether it be at MK or somplace else, then go to epcot, spend the afternoon there, have dinner someplace, then either to mgm or stay in epcot for possibly illuminations. then to Mk for wishes and spectro. it is an EMH for mgm, so we may do that late night, or go back to the room. the next morning we will get on the bus and go to the port for the cruise. we have to fly home on sunday when the cruise gets in-bummer!!

would like nice places to eat. was also thinking maybe ca grill or liberty tree.

im open to suggestions. there are so many to pick from, its really hard to pick just 2.

California Grill is AWESOME!!!! I just don't know if you could get a ADR this close to the date.

If you would rather do dinner at Epcot I would suggest Le Cellier, again IF you can get an ADR. Chefs de France is also good.

Outside of the parks Jiko at Animal Kingdom lodge or Boma.

For lunch I'm not so sure as we usually eat lunch at Counter Service places.

Personally I would go to Boma for breakfast and then have dinner at California Grill. Again depending on ADRs.
