We are bringing our 3 grandchildren to WDW Dec. 11-16. I rented a 1br villa at Jambo House AKL from Daves vacation rental. We are getting hoppers and dining plan.
I have a few questions....
Should we fly? DH and I always fly (we are from Louisiana) but I don't know if it is worth the extra money to fly with the 3 grands. We could drive and break it up. ?
I would love to take them to the Christmas party. Are they too young to enjoy it?
Should we rent a park double stroller, bring our own, or rent from someone else?
I forgot to mention they are ages 4-3-2. The 4-2 year olds are my sons daughters. He and wife are not interested in going to WDW but his DW is wishy washy about if the girls can even go or not. I have no idea why. She said once that she wanted to be the one to take them-but she says she doesn't want to go. ??? It may be the cost?
The 3 yr old boy is my daughters. Her husband does not do Disney so just her and Jaxon will go. DD loves Disney like me.
DH and I are paying for the grands all the way. DD is paying for her dining plan and park tickets and flight if we fly.
I told daughter in law and son that if they want to go they would have to pay the same expenses as DD but we would get a studio villa for them at AKL. I may look into a moderate room if free dining is available and put them in a moderate instead. It cost less that way.
This scenario...
Get a room with free dining promo at CBR that sleeps five put DD, DS, DDinlaw, and 4-3 year olds on that reservation.
I will put myself, DH and 2 year old on AKL Dvc and add dining plan and tickets.
I think the costs should be like this...
AKL villa
Room is already paid.
Dining plan. for 2 adult (no plan or tix for 2 year old). $618.40
5 day park hoppers. $806
Total $1424.40
Preferred room at CBR if free dining is offered this week for 3 adults and 2 toddlers
With 5 day hoppers And DDP
Total $3600 (maybe a little mor if I get Port Orleans Riverside)
So- a little over $5000 more not including flights
Any advice on ALL if this is appreciated.
