WDW Fantasmic Refurbishment????

Has anyone heard about an upcoming Fantasmic refurbishment? We are traveling in early Feb. of 2018 and were going to book a Fantasmic dining package. But, Disney does not haven any dates available for the dining package in Feb. I have three theories. 1, Fantasmic is in refurbishment. 2, the dining packages are just not available yet 3, Disney is cancelling the dining package.

Does anyone have any insight?

Packages are always released late. We look to book a Fantasmic dining package for almost every trip and they are almost never available at 180 days out. Is a refurbishment possible? Yes. However, I wouldn't take the lack of dining package availability to mean a refurbishment is happening. We want to book a Rivers of Light dining package in December and current availability ends in October.
