So I was at the world last week with some newbies. Well I was trying to get them all the info but know that some of my facts were not quite acurate. So I thought that maybe we could start a thread with all the cool facts people have found out. Now the facts I was wondering about were things like
# of workers in the world
amount of water used
size ( i believe it is something bigger than manhattan)
number of visitors
those are just a few samples so here is the test for all those who get the cool facts on tours or have worked their or have family or friends. Lets get this going

I just read in "The Cheapskates Guide to WDW" that the wonderful smells of the Main Street bakery are not actually "real" smells. They are being pumped from underneath the ground through small vents....crazy, huh?

Recently I read an article in an Orlando Sentinel 2 days series on WDW. It referenced what WDW co. pays in property tax every year

From the Local taxes article:
"Last year, Disney paid the (Reedy Creak Improvement) District $50 million plus $77.5 million in property taxes to Orange and Osceola counties."
