I read about this cd-rom on another board. I know it is outdated, but do you think I would get any use out of it? If not any use, would I at least enjoy it? It's pretty cheap an ebay and I am desperate for a new way to get my Disney fix!!!

Thanks in advance

The second edition came out in 1998. (The earlier one in 1995?) I found it quite enjoyable, and great for showing my preschoolers what to expect. A lot of background trivia too. The only thing is you won't get any info on AK. It was just opening and they only have a little blurb about it -- same with Buzz Lightyear. They still had 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea on it :goodvibes My girls still like looking at it, but don't consider it a guide -- a complement to WDW if you already know the what's there and what's not.

The explorer Cd is pretty cool, I had one but seem to ave lost it :(. But also there has been alot of new additions since it came out. Have you received the new Disney vacation planning dvd? It's really entertaining to watch and it's way different from the normal Disney video tape. I got my dvd in the mail a few months ago and have watch it several times already and probably will watch it several more times before I go in Sept. :jumping1:

I've had the dvd since Feb (we went in April), and I have probably watched it a hundred times! Now we are planning a trip in Jan and I am desperate for something else! I may pick up the explorer CD to tide me over til they come out with the DVD for next year.

We are planning trip in May and I just got it. I think it is worth it.

We have a DD 5 and this will be her first trip to WDW. She gets a kick out of exploring the parks and looking at pictures of the rides. I think it is good prep material, although a little dated, but still has all four parks.

Enjoy! :wave2:
