WDW Engagement Pics

We are getting our engagement pictures taken by Randy Chapman in September. We are not getting married in WDW but I really wanted our engagement pics taken there and we are going in Sept. so why not??!!

What does everyone suggest to wear? I have been looking over the pics on Randy's website and I see a lot of sundresses and capris. I have gained some weight over the last year (mostly in my midsection and rear) so I don't want to look like I am pregnant. What colors photograph the best? My wardrobe is made up of mostly blacks, browns, and whites but I am going to buy a new outfit for the photo shoot.

What do guys usually wear? I was thinking khakis and a white polo shirt??

Also, what do you think of having the photo shoot at Port Orleans Riverside? I know most people like the Grand Floridian and the Boardwalk but I LOVE POR (and that is where we are staying). Do you think there are enough places to do a whole photo shoot or not really?

So we did a variety, and I think the colors were really nice (we did me in a purple and DF in a white). We also did some simple black and white colors, but I liked the purple the best. I think you have to consider your background. We did ours at the GF, and with plain white on the top, it didn't contrast as well with the plain white of the GF buildings.

You answered my question that I forgot to ask! Whether or not prints or solids are better.

Maybe a nice deep purple shirt with khakis or capris? I don't know about shoes, if I wear capris then probably sandals but if I end up wearing a dress then maybe a small heel.

I think POR has PLENTY of photo ops, and if you include french quarter there is a little more variety. How long is your shoot? If it is pretty long, you could even hop on over to dtd.

It's an hour and he said that we can go to more than one place. I'm really liking the idea of POR!
