Did various searches but can't seem to find a definitive answer.
Want the best price for 10 day Park Hoppers at WDW so likely to buy from Undercovertourist or Orbitz.
I believe it's Undercovertourist that mentions getting free shipping for tickets.

Question:
If I get their confirmation code and link the tickets to our MDE and Magic Bands then do we still need the hardcopy tickets at all? Or is it good to have them as a backup?
Do we still need to see anyone at a booth or resort to 'trade-in' our E-Tickets?

Thank You

If you have a MagicBand and a ticket linked to MDE, you don't really need to come to the ticket booths unless you want the plastic card as a backup - it's not necessary. (Exceptions include FL resident tickets, military tickets, or any other special ticket type that requires ID verification.)

I had our tickets with us just in case but we never needed them. I know some people don't even bring them but I just felt more comfortable knowing they were in that little pocket in the backpack should something happen with a band or something.

I see. So once successfully activated and linked in MDE to our Magic bands then we are done. No hardcopies or trading in e-tickets needed anywhere. Great!
Thanks so much

You don't need them if you have a magic band BUT I was glad I had mine on our last trip. On our first day in the parks, my oldest took her sister's second set of magic band by mistake (age 2 so mo ticket or FP+ on it) and we realized the mistake only at the gate at RD. Luckily I had our tickets that I had purchased from undercover with me as backup and our day was saved.

I don't fully trust the magic band system so I always carry our tickets and cash with me. You never kniw when there will be glitch in the system and we all know that the system has been glitchy for many!

I will say this..always have your actual tix in your wallet as a backup, just in case. This can't be overstated....there are glitches ALL THE TIME with those bracelets, and you will want to have it,in case you're the 'poor unfortunate soul ' that has a glitchy ticket problem. Just like you should always keep a backup credit card with you,and don't rely solely on MB for payment, for the same reason.

Looks like I still need some more clarification. Hope you don't mind.

I went to Undercovertourist.com to order the Park Hoppers tonight and noticed they have a choice of hardcopy or eTicket.
I was going to choose eTicket to avoid the hassle if the tickets get lost in the mail, and since I would be linking the confirmation number to our MDE.

Question: If I choose e-Ticket, link to MDE, can I still get a hardcopy ticket from the resort when I check in?
If not, then to have a backup, is the only choice to order hardcopy tickets. If so, then I don't get a code to link to MDE until I receive the tickets correct?

Thanks

I just bought tickets through Undercover Tourist about 2 weeks ago. Here's what I did:
I bought the hardcopy tickets, and then I emailed them and asked for the serial number for each ticket so I can link them to MDE. They emailed me back immediately and gave me the information. Then a few days later I got the tickets in the mail. I think it took less than a week to get my tickets in the mail. The only reason I emailed them and asked for the serial numbers is because my 60 days was coming up that next day to book FP+.

HTH!

I ordered my DISNEY tickets from UT on Saturday

I received them the following Friday ... total time 6 days via USPS (with tracking/non expedited)
