Has anyone purchased any of the Disney World DVD sets? They're "souvenir guides". Tours of the parks. I've been looking at them on Ebay, and they sound like they'd be great, but I'd hate to spend all that money and be disappointed. Any opinions?

I would love to know too. I saw them at the World of Disney in NYC a couple weeks ago. If they are good, maybe I will grab them when I go back in a couple weeks.

Count me in as interested too! I was thinking about having DH order me a couple from Disneyworld mailorder for Christmas. If anyone has any of these DVD's (except the MK version which we already have) do you have the SKU #? We've enjoyed the Magic Kingdom one. It's a good Disney fix, especially when your next trip is far away.

Well, this is a good enough endorsement for me...I'm adding the MK one to my Christmas list! ::yes::

Now how about the other park DVD's? Anyone?

I've seen the individual park DVD's on Ebay for $24.95 and the set of 4 for $84.95.

I have the MGM Studios DVD and I think it is pretty good.
I you are going to the parks soon I believe they are $19.99 plus tax. It's a little cheaper to buy them in the parks than to purchase them on EBAY.

Yes, they are $19.99+tax in the parks and the set is $79.99+tax (I believe). I saw them when I was there a couple of weeks ago and really debated on buying them or not. Now I'm sorry I didn't.

My friend has the 5 dvd set and let me borrow it. I had animal kingdom and MK on their own...I love dvds and music from the parks, but honestly, these kindof bore me. They have some music and kindof pan thru the areas, and hardly say anything thru the whole video. I was planning to purchase the set, but not really sure if I will now.

at the World of Disney in Downtown Disney in Orlando. The 5th one is about the happiest celebration on earth.

Because this was the first time Disney put anything together like this, I felt compelled to buy it. Although, it's better than the vacation DVDs; Disney is still missing the mark on this one. They're just ok.

I would like to see the attractions represented more and the entertainers. I'd like more of a behind the scenes look, too. Information and history about the rides and parks would be appreciated, as well.

I give it a B- grade.

to those of you who have them or have seen them......are they newer footage of the parks than the VHS tapes "A Day at the Magic Kingdom" "A Day at Epcot" "A Day at MGM Studios" that were made in the 90's? I already have those VHS tapes and would hate to buy them again. Of course I realize the answer depends upon whether you have seen those VHS tapes or not, but thought I'd ask. Thanks......40 days to go !!!!
