I hope you can help me decide!

I am desperate to get back to WDW. The only time my kids can get out of school is March 14-19 (Sunday-Friday). I'm afraid it will be so crowded and crazy busy because of college spring breaks that we will spend all our time waiting in lines.

My kids are 8 & 12. I'm hoping that if we get an early start every day, we will have alot done before those on spring break even wake up.

What do you think? How bad do you think it will be?

Chris

It's not just college break. A lot of Florida counties ahve off from school that week.
I was there last year during spring break and it was crazy but mot as crazy as holiday weeks.

We were there last year at this time. I didn't think that it was too bad. We have been at Easter time (NEVER AGAIN) and we have been when it has been empty. This time is right in the middle. I think that the other parks were fine but that Magic Kingdom was pretty busy. We did the Enights - so that helped. We found that the parks got busier the later in the week that we were there. I believe that we arrived on a Wednesday. Wed-Fri were pretty manageable by Saturday MK was pretty busy. A plus - the weather is awesome!!!!

The weeks wrapping around Easter are usually the worst. We are usually down there the last week of March unless Easter is late and then it's the first week of April.

Less busy .... shorter waits, but also shorter park hours
Real busy .... longer waits, but also longer park hours (like 11:00 pm or midnight closings)

Each has their advantage and can be equally enjoyable if you plan things right.

All the schools seem to have different break times, so I think March tends to be pretty spread out as far as spring breakers. Go and have a good time!!!

I've been there for spring break every year since March 2002, and I'm going this year as well. The first year I went it was EMPTY and wonderful (I think people were afraid of traveling after 9/11). Last year it was much busier. Fast passes for the popular rides go pretty fast, and the pool at OKW was much more crowded. But it's manageable. I've been there over New Year's and July 4th, and I don't think it's quite as bad during spring break as it is over holidays. Just be prepared to plan, get there early, eat meals at more unusual times, etc. Good luck deciding.
