My wife and another couple are staying at the Dolphin during the 1st week of June using the RN/Teacher discount. When we check in, is there a certain floor or wing that we can request to get a good view of Epcot and Illuminations? Any other tips about the Dolphin and Swan are greatly appreciated as well.

Hi,

I think the rooms on the small wing facing the Boardwalk may offer views of illuminations. ( high level floor better)

However I stayed at the Swan ( 5th -8th may)and found the bridge heading to the YC& BC (just after the walkway to the right to the Boardwalk) offered very good views of most of the fireworks.

( you will not see the fire or the waterworks of the illuminations show itself but the fireworks are still a great experience)

Regards

A tip: the bus picks up and drops off at the Swan first. We usually walk over to the Swan and wait for the bus to the MK, AK, etc. from its bus stop. The bus then goes on to the Dolphin, Boardwalk and it can makes stops at Y/B Club. Although on my stays at S/D, the bus did not stop at Y/B.

Mouseteacher,

How is the bus service? We are staying at the Dolphin (great tip about walking over to the Swan bus stop) and can't decide if we should drive or take the bus to the MK (EMH morning).
