WDW Disney Club Discounts

Well, I just joined the Disney Club. Found out my employer had a code to get $10 off, so just cost me $29.99. Figured I would get that back easily when it comes time to purchase tickets for my family of four this June, so it seems to be a wash so far, like getting the card for free with the purchase of 4 - 6 day park hopper tickets.

Other than this, what additional discounts are available when we visit Disney in June? I know about the Resort discounts, which we already booked a better deal than the DC offered, and Disney store stuff, so I am most concerned with actual discounts at Walt Disney World Restaurants and gift shops.

However, you can find tickets, restaurant discounts and even room rates for better prices elsewhere. The main benefit of owning the card is the 10% off at the store.

If you need a rental car, using the Disney Club discounts for National is the way to go.

First, Sign up for the Emerald Club - $50.00 annual fee is waived for DC members

Then reserve a mid-sized car using BOTH the free weekend day coupon (you have to print it out and bring it) and the 10% off of the weekly rate.

When you use the Emerald Isle service, you get to choose the vehicle you want from a pretty good selection of cars. I chose a full-size with leather interior at the price of a discounted mid size.

It was way cool!
