So upset right now. I'm hold with WDW Dining. An hour ago, I called to see if I could add my son to my BOG dinner reservation, modifying it from 2 to 3 people. The CM said yes and gave me a new reservation number. Wow, great Disney magic right? No! I checked MDM and now it's says Biergarten and not BOG! WDW Dining confirms it as Biergarten and my old reservation was cancelled.

It should be pretty obvious to a supervisor as what happened. When there is no avail at BOG one of the options it pops up is Biergarten. I'm guessing the CM was new and just missed that they were replacing and not modifying. I would think they would be able to fix.

Well, after they told me that Biergarten was reserved and not BE OUR GUEST, I'm afraid that I became *that* guest. First time, I ever raised my voice to a CM and I've been going to Disney World since 1982! I said that's NOT FAIR. It wasn't MY FAULT. I reserved BOG 180 days in advance and now when I called to add a person, the reservation was changed to Biergarten by a CM. Well the new CM took my reservation numbers both new and old and said to hold and she will see what she could do. Then she comes back and says the restaurant says the original reservation was cancelled. That just added fuel to my anger but I took a deep breath and scoffed and said, of course, that's why I had a new reservation number. It was like the CM was trying to get me to admin that I deliberately cancelled the BOG and rescheduled to the Biergarten. Now, I know why some people just lose it when there's a problem!
I went back on hold but when the CM came back, she said her computer died!:headache: Anyway, what she was finally able to do, BOG would reinstate the original reservation and she would add a note that another person would also attend. Plus she would cancel the Biergarten reservation.
Then at the end, she asked me if she could do anything else for me. I said no way, I wasn't touching any of my reservations again. ( I got Le Cellier and CRT reservedtoo).
Who knows what we happen when we show up for dinner! But like I said, I'm not call WDW Dining again.
Am I now on a "bad guest" list?

I would be very ticked off too. Can you see your BOG reservation on MDE?

I would be a little bit worried about the "note" adding another person. I would call back and talk with someone else just to double check on this "note".

I would be a bit concerned about your additional guest. Hopefully there is some sort of note on your ADR that your extra person MUST be seated, in order to make up fr their screw-up.

How upsetting and frustrating! :sad:I would have been livid too, especially when the CM came back on line and told you that the first was cancelled and the second was the new reservation. UGG! Was he or she not listening AT ALL when you told him/her the first time?!! :faint:That is what would have really got my blood boiling. :furious:

I totally understand why you do not plan to call them again! Hoping everything goes well on your trip!

Oh my goodness! That is a disaster, but I am pretty sure they cannot fix it (they are not lying to you).
:(
Is there anything a manager can do? The dining reservation center is often a call center (outsourced) and not actually on-site CM.

What date was your reservation for?
In case you're looking for mid-March, I'd be happy to see if you could take mine.
