WDW Deluxe Resorts - Your Top 3 / Bottom 3?

There are Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villas
Technically, 2 different categories. Even if both are Deluxe
Even resorts with both, BWI and BWV or WL and CC/BRV they are very different rooms

Ah, so SS only has villas? I never knew that! I know I usually prefer regular rooms to DVC because I don't like those pull-out couches.

Yeah, I got ‘chastised’ by a DISer once when I didn’t include SSR and OKW in a list of Deluxes (even though the discussion on the thread was about “resorts” at the time). :-)

OKW is a deluxe?! So wait, all the deluxes have DVC components, called "villas," correct? But SSR and OKW are ONLY villas, no "resort" rooms?

Yep. Those two are Deluxe dedicated Villas
No all the deluxe do not have Villa. Though I think may be just YC without now. And did I read they are getting Villa sometime

We have only stayed at the Polynesian and may have to look elsewhere.

This thread has proven the decision to be rather difficult.

Keep your top/bottom 3’s coming.

This is interesting

Top 3:
Bottom 3:
  • Disney's Yacht Club Resort
  • Disney's Beach Club Resort
  • Disney's Boardwalk Inn

I didn't like the Epcot area resorts, which was surprising to me, but I really didn't like the pools and the lack of a true on site food court. AKL is magical and it's own world, so despite its transportation drawbacks, it's in my top 3. WL gets the edge over the Contemporary for me because of theming, but the convenience of the contemporary to MK is pretty amazing.
