I found this forum while Googling the College Program. Seem like just the place to ask this.
I was in the College Program at WDW in the fall of 2008. After wasting some time in college for a bit I've decided that my passion is working at the parks. I don't care where in the parks I work-- I just know that Disney parks have been something I care a lot about for most of my life, so that's where I want to head. I live in CA, so Disneyland is the obvious choice.
Does anyone have any experience with re-applying to work at Disney after doing the College Program? I know there's internships, but I don't know if anything they offer really interests me. What'd I'd prefer to do is start working at the park again then look at where I can go from there. Honestly, if I could support myself just working attractions I would just do that the rest of my life. I enjoyed it that much.
Also, does anyone have any experience applying for Disney while not living nearby? I live in Fresno, so I could really only move once I know I have a job. How would that application process work?
I'm not in TOO much of a hurry to do this-- need to buy myself a car first. But within the next year or so I want to be out on my own working at Disney. Any suggestions would be great.
