Hi

DD is entering the College Program on May 29th!! I know she will get discounts on hotels but will she get the discounts on DVC properties as well such as Broadwalk villas or am I better off renting point privately.

I called earlier about this. It all depends on what's available and when she can get 50, 40, or 20% off of the cost- She just has to go on to the Cast Portal and go under Disney Difference or just have her call 407-WDW-CAST and they would have more information

The discount is off of Rack rate. My daughters discount couldnt match a DVC resort via rental points... And it doesnt apply to package deals...

With that said, You can do pretty good if you get 7-10 day non exp tix and split it up between trips, values as cheap as 40$ and deluxes as cheap as 150$

I think CP discount on tix is only 10%.

She can get 15% off of the DVC just as her name is on the deed and you can put 10% down. I called 407-WDW-CAST and they transfered me to the DVC Cast Discount people. That would be the first thing to do just for questions because they were really helpful

My daughter got her 50% off rate at BCV over Christmas and it's a WAY better rate than I could have gotten by renting points at that time of year
