WDW Courtyard Marriott Transportation

Can anyone give me their opinion of the theme park transportation offered by the Downtown Disney Resorts? I understand they have their own buses, not the regular Disney Resort buses. Do they run as frequently as the regular Disney Resort buses?

I have not stayed there yet. I stay at the courtyard at marriott in August. But I was told they run every 30 minutes to MK, AK, Epcot, BB, TL and MGM till 2 hours after closing. And the Downtown disney or PI bus starts at 3 runs every 30 minutes till 3 in the morning.
I heard they are almost as reliable as disney transportation. Hoping they are right

When we stayed at the DD Courtyard in 1998, I thought the bus transportation was fine. I believe the buses ran every 30 minutes, however the buses are shared between all of the DD resorts, so it takes quite a while to loop through the resorts.

I don't believe there is a buses for DD, since you are within walking distance.

I do remember one problem that we had was getting back from MK after e-ticket night. The bus was not there and didn't come after waiting awhile. We ended up taking a Disney bus to DD and walking over (which is only about 4 blocks.
