Does anyone know how trip insurance works, If I book a Nov trip and for some reason my wife can't get off, do they refund it or give you credit towards a later trip This will be the 1st time I would have to even think about getting insurance, since normally if we are booked we are going

I'll be curious too. I think it covers medical and airline tickets, but when it comes to stays at WDW, normal polices apply (I think). If you book, can't you move the dates around if you need to?

I'm going to visit the local AAA office next Wed and find out how it works, if you can move the dates without losing any cash it would be worth it on a unsure trip

Now when exactly in August are you going, I've started a rough list of new things (including characters) that have come into play already or will soon, yes there are some that will not happen till after August , Once I get my notes in order, I'll post what I got, I'm sure other's will be able to add to it, I'm going to try to get it going in the next couple weeks so everyone going this summer & fall knows what's happening

Fri August 24th I'll be eating dinner in the food court at Art of Animation (I got to check the place out)

Ron, I am not sure how trip insurance works, as I've never taken it out. But I think it has more to do with "emergency" cancellations. But as I said I am not sure.

HOWEVER, with that said - I do know how WDW Cancellation Policy works.

If you cancel BEFORE 45 days, there is NO PENALTY.

If you cancel WITHIN 45 days, there is a $200 PENALTY.

That $200 penalty can be waived IF you put the $ paid towards a future trip of equal or greater value.

Yesterday was my first "real" Mother's Day (have had a stepdaughter for years but now have my own DD) and DH told me I could do whatever I wanted for my day. Before I could even respond, he said "I'm NOT sending you to Disney World!"

Yesterday was my first "real" Mother's Day (have had a stepdaughter for years but now have my own DD) and DH told me I could do whatever I wanted for my day. Before I could even respond, he said "I'm NOT sending you to Disney World!"

It was worth a chance. Tell him he can send you there next Mother's Day. We managed a trip once in May and it was ok. Now, we have too many school activities and unpredictable make up snow days.

The kids made me some cute heart shaped clay containers for Mother's day. Had a relaxing day for the most part, but am gearing up for 2 birthdays, DH today, and DS7 soon to be 8 on Thurs. Factor in that I'm prepping for the garage raising for the weekend in the Gulf Islands, and I'm going to have a busy week. Will be nice to see it finally built finally after all the headaches we had with Islands Trust and the Capital Regional District inspectors. Have a great day everyone!
