WDW Commando Club

Hope everyone had a Great Holiday:cool1:

Still on the old PC, but did get a new one today, should have it up and running in the next couple days:banana:), I have to go to a hour class next Mon to learn how to use it:lmao:

OOOH fancy computer. Gotta love the smell of a new computer first thing in the morning! Hopefully you are having better luck in figuring out all the new programs than I am at the moment. This things got far more programs than the old one, and am still trying to figure out where all the data that DH transferred is. I've have a Sony Vaio E series laptop that we got a great deal on just before Christmas.

1st time on with the new computer:cool1: Mainly because my wife would not get off it:lmao:
Got to take a couple classes before I'm use to it:confused3 I hope to learn to post pics & links, I got a lot of cool stuff I'd like to share:goodvibes

Back to the parking lots

Now this is where I think I can make some time

If I'm at HS in the A.M. and go to MK in the afternoon, if I catch the bus at the front gate of HS to MK, not only would it save time on going back to the car in the lot, but would save a ton of time getting to MK, since you would most likely be parked in the boondocks in the afternoon, then you would have to catch the tram, then take the Monorail or Ferry over to MK:confused3

Compared to the bus dropping you off at the gate of MK

I'm thinking anywhere from 30 - 60 minutes saved each day, over a course of 5 days you are looking at 2.5 - 5 hours of extra park time:cool1:

If you don't save any time when you leave for the night it really doesn't matter since you are only going back to your room, But somehow I think you still might save some time leaving:confused3, I'd much rather not waste park
time:rolleyes1

So, are there park to park buses, or do you have to take it to a resort, then to the park?

Ron is going to fly? :scared1:

Good ? Randall, I just tried to find out the answer and once again a mixed bag of info:confused3

Some of the info I found said there are no park to park busses

some said you can get a bus from HS to AK with a quick stop in-between at Blizzard Beach

Also found one that said recently they started running busses direct to parks, while others say you have to go to Tickets & Transportation

I need to look into it further, since the research so far is so stretched
out:confused3

In August I was on the HS - AK run, I remember stopping at Blizzard Beach

So I hope the right answer is that they are running park to park, I'd really love to save some time on park hopping, otherwise I'll be back to the drawing board trying to skim some time somewhere:rolleyes1

I got to get me one of those Monorails, Looks cool Randall:thumbsup2

I did see a rumor that I hope is true, The Beauty & The Beast Castle may be ready for the end of June:confused3 This would be the Be Our Guest dinner:woohoo:

If this is true, I'll be there in August:cool1: Out of where we are going to eat I'd drop House Of Blues to go there:thumbsup2

Yeah I keep getting told that there are park to park buses but I have never seen a stop at any of the parks. I'll see if I can get some concrete info on this!

On another note....I'm super disappointed in the "big" Disney Parks announcement.....it's a get an extra day promo but only for a 2 week period which of course ends the day before I arrive in March... :sad2:

It ends the day before you get there:mad: Now that really bites:mad: I wouldn't mind doing the 24hr MK tour though, that would be cool:confused3, Oh well maybe in 4 years:rolleyes1

It's ok, looks like this promo wouldn't save me more money than what I'm doing now anyway!

Ok....so since I never really needed to take a bus between parks, I never bothered looking at the transportation forum, but here's what I found on this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2573200

I'll start with this one.....(thanks MagicBus)

Nice find Shandale:thumbsup2

Based on this info park to park for Epcot, HS & AK are all direct and would bring you to the gate:yay:

Anything that has to do with MK is all based out off TTC:eek:

This has foiled my idea somewhat, since you are not going to make any time at TTC:scared1:, so as a backup plan I might make some time if I took the bus to the Comtemp and just walk to MK:confused3

My FIL booked the timeshare for us yesterday, so we are official August 19-25:yay::woohoo:

Let the planning begin:rolleyes1
