WDW Check In Online CDN Credit Card (MDE)

Hello Fellow Canadians,

I have been trying to use the Online Check In through the MDE website.

Step two requires you to put a credit card on file for incidentals. When selecting the billing address however it seems like you can only use a USA Address. When you select the Country as Canada (or any other country for that fact) it does not change the "State" and "Zip" requirements.

Has anyone else had any luck using the online check in? I can get it to work using any USA address so it obviously don't check the address before registering the card on your account.

I have checked in via MDE and had no problem using my Canadian address with my credit card.

When I did online check in my visa was already on file it just asked if I wanted to change it. I had already set it up to be on file for room charges when I called to make final payment on my package. Maybe give them a call to add it before doing online check in???

I had no problem either, we had set it up for a previous visit with a new check in. And I checked in for my sil who had to create an account first then check in, and again no problem. Not sure what's going on with your account, sorry.

I just didn't fill in cc information, and finished the rest of the online check-in. But, we're planning to provide cash for our charges anyways, so didn't try and put in a card#!

I know exactly what you are talking about, when you change the country to Canada you can't put a state of zip (even though they are asterisked) but just below that there is a place to manually put your province and postal. It will go through by doing that and leaving state and zip blank.

I found a way around it for anyone else who has this problem.

If you go into your MDE profile and setup your address information you'll then get the option to add the credit card to your file (The option won't appear until you set everything else up). If you do that then your online check in will now work as you can select the card on file.

If you try to check in without a credit card on file then the site will currently only let you use a USA address. I guess it's a bug they haven't fixed yet.
