WDW CANADIAN CERTIFICATE AND BOOKING FAST PASS

Hi all! I am taking advantage of the 25% off and will receive the certificate from WDW to exchange .Will it show a number to book to our fass pass?
And if I can.....
I have a relative going down next week .If I get her to pick up magic bands can I link the fass pass to them or wait til I have the official ticket in hand when we buy arrive ?

Yes, you will get a number that you can add to your account immediately letting you book your FP+ when the time rolls around.

If you're staying on-site you will get magic bands when you check in, you will get magic bands even if it's a room only reservation since it's your room key now. If you're staying off-site you can buy them (or have your relative get them for you if you want them earlier) but you don't need them, your tickets media is linked to your account and you can use either your magic band or the hard plastic tickets that are similar in size to credit cards. I would imagine they will exchange your certificate for a ticket when you activate it at a ticket booth if you don't have magic bands.

I think you have to show your proof of Canadian resident to get the deal, right? I don't know if your relative can pick them up for you anyway.

I don't know how pick up works (I booked over a month ago and haven't gotten a certificate) but the woman on the phone at disney gave me a ticket reservation number. Once I put that into MDE I have them linked and will be able to book my FPs once my 60 day window rolls around.
