WDW Called Me Back!!!

Yup like others have said they have them cause we've taken them in the past. Must be miserable to spend all that time hopping for those who didn't realize this. And yes they are near where the resort buses are and signs are there to direct you.

Please tell me where these buses are, we have honestly never seen them. I even asked one of the bus drivers at HS about buses to other parks and she said we would have to take one of the resort buses and hop a bus from there to the other parks. I'm confused.

If you google Walt Disney World Bus Transportation signs, you'll come up with the actual signs. I'd provide the link but it is blocked by the disboards.

Thanks!

I guess since we have asked bus drivers and castmembers in the past and was given incorrect info that we just mindlessly went to the resort bus stops when trying to get to other parks instead of actually paying closer attention to the bus displays. I knew I had a good idea! :rotfl:

You can go to the TTC but still have take one thing to get to the other, so not much different than hopping a bus to a resort and then another to a park.

We've been to WDW that last four years, if they have park-to-park buses they don't advertise them well, or my family needs to work on their observation skills.

They have park to park busses, I use them often and have for years. The signage is good, you just really have to take the time to read them or ask a CM. With all the signs giving different numbers to different locations it can be very confusing.

Here is a sample rundown for busses from Animal Kingdom. As of June/2013

The newly expanded bus load zones at Disney's Animal Kingdom are now open. As a result of the additions the vast majority of the zones have been reconfigured, so if you are used to heading to a particular stop for your resort, take note of the changes. Here is a full rundown of the stop numbers for each resort.
1. Wilderness Lodge/Grand Floridian
2.Contemporary/Polynesian
3.Yacht Club/Beach Club
4.Boardwalk/Swan/Dolphin
5.Saratoga Springs
6.Caribbean Beach
7.Old Key West
8.Fort Wilderness
9.Coronado Springs
10.Animal Kingdom Lodge
11.Port Orleans
12.All-Star Resorts
13.Art of Animation
14.Pop Century
15.Epcot
16.Transportation & Ticket Center
17.Hollywood Studios

Thanks everyone! I guess I'll have to take what bus drivers and castmembers say with a grain of salt from now on. It really surprises me their own employees didn't know this, as a matter of fact the bus driver I asked at HS was rude with me when I asked her about park-to-park buses. Now I know.

The CM's have a lot of information to keep in their heads. BUT, I am shocked that a bus driver did not know about the park to park busses.
Once at the ESPN club on the Boardwalk I was told by one of the CMs there that they had a boat that went from Boardwalk to the MK. She insisted that there was one. Very interesting since there is absolutely NO waterway between that area an MK, at least not on the surface. :)
Here's hoping you find them on your next visit. :)

We've been going since 1994 and I didn't know. Well, reading this rang a bell and I think I had seen a sign once to a park that we weren't interested in at the time, so I didn't think much of it (and I am pretty sure I justified it in my head, like it wasn't solely a PTP bus or something LOL). But anyway...we've never USED the PTP busses...I am pretty sure that when we first went a loooong time ago they did NOT have PTP busses, or at least we were repeatedly told they did not.

I took a bus from AK one morning last month to DHS. At least I'm pretty sure that what I did was an early opening for AK followed by DHS for Star Tours & TSMM.
The bus stop was w-a-a-a-y far out, in an area that had stops for (I think) non-Disney shuttles. I had never been out in that lot before, and I would never have seen it, but I'm pretty sure there was signage -- or I wouldn't have been there! :) Me and the other 40 or so people who decided to do the same thing. I had to take the 2nd bus!

So I can see how many people would not know these exist.

There are two bus lanes at AK for Disney buses, and those to Epcot and DHS are on the far side. The sign before you get to the bus area clearly tells you at which numbered spot to wait for the bus you want to take.
