A friend of ours told us that we should rent a car for our next trip because WDW has cut the number of busses it runs by about half. Any truth to this or is our friend talking out of their you know what? TIA. :thumbsup2

Your friend is talking out of her hat. WDW increased the number of on-site buses by at least 5% not too long ago, and they're expanding the MK bus area in part in anticipation of the arrival of larger-capacity articulated buses.

Thanks. Always have to take what she says with a grain (chunk maybe) of salt, especially when she starts with WDW "info".

We were just there at the end of April and busses were plentiful. We did have a rental car because we like having that option but we used buses most of the time with no extra wait times.
