were going to be in wdw april 5th througth the 13th and would like to know how the buses run about that time?,and any good suggeston on getting around with the buses, also we plan on having dinner at some other resorts what kind of time we sould give our selfs to get around thanks

The one thing I would strongly suggest is to leave the parks PRIOR to park closing. Once the parks are closed, there is a mad rush to the bus stops. You'll end up waiting for a bus for a very, very long time. Also, remember that busses don't run resort to resort, so when planning your meals, you have to plan to take a bus from your resort to a park, then to the resort where your meal is. When we stayed at Pop and had dinner at 1900 Park Faire, we took the bus to MK, then monorail to GF. We didn't allow ourselves enough time, though. I hadn't really considered all the stops that the monorail had to make before the GF. The good news is, even though we were late to all but one of our ADRs, we were always seated promptly upon our arrival. They are very understanding that way. Good luck!

It depends on where you are staying. Bus service varries so much. WE have found POP to have the best service of any resort including deluxe. All CM's will tell you to allow 1 hour for going from a resort to any meal. One told me that is the standard answer they all give. We found that meals at any monorail resort is easy. A bus to the MK and monorail over. Of couse if you are at a MK resort just hop on the boat or monorail. We found that the parks are the best connection point. To get the the AKL. you can bus to the AK and then bus to the AKL. Buses are stated to run every 15-20 minutes and that is what we found at the WL and to a degree some other places. POP however we never waited more that a few minutes even at park closing and after fantasmic. Buses from the resort were even better.

What we do is to plan our meals in logical places according to where we are going to be anyway. WE love to eat in the WS and it is easy and fun to hop to Epcot from any park or the resort. You can get to the boardwalk resort resturants from Epcot as well. DD is an easy bus ride directly from the resort.
We also always make sure we have enough cash for a taxi ride if needed but have never ever needed it. We never move our car the entire trip and have eaten all over property.
