I will be visiting Orlando on business October 25th-26th (I've already been to Disney twice this year and here I go again). DH and I are going down to do the parks on the 23-24. I want to take my photographer to a neat breakfast, on Tuesday morning before we have to catch a flight back. I've never eaten breakfast @ an of the resorts (usually on the run).

Can anyone suggest a good place outside of the parks? I though about Boma's, but haven't been there for breafast, only dinner.

Do any of the resorts have an unusual or character breakfast that I could get a PS for?

We also have time for dinner Monday night...any suggestions outside of the parks?

Thanks!!

Boma is a great choice, I think. Great buffet in a beautiful hotel.

Kona at the Polynesian is another great choice....great food in an a la carte format.

Neither of these have characters. If you really want characters 1900 Park Faire at the Grand Floridian and Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary are buffets with character. 'Ohanna at the Polynesian offers a family style character breakfast.

I think I'd pick Boma or Kona.;)

Boma's breakfast is really good in my opinion. My whole family enjoyed it.

As for character breakfasts, O'hanas, Cape May's, Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare are all options. Out of these three I would pick Ohana's or Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare. I am not a big fan of Cape May's.

Also the at the GF is the Cafe that is really good. The breakfast here is so good but no characters. It's usually calm and quiet and it's got a nice setting.

Forgot for dinner, there are tons of courses. I would check out allearsnet.com and look up the menus. See which dinner you like. I think a good choice might be the Cali Grill and go when yall could catch the fireworks.

OK, I got us a priority seating for OHANA @ The Polynesian at 6:40 p.m. on Monday. Still working on breakfast...

I know I sound like a broken record, but if you haven't seen any of my prior posts...
FRESH FRESH FRESH!!

Fresh is an excellent new restaurant at the Dolphin open for breakfast and lunch. It is not a character meal but unique in that all of the main dishes are made to order in buffet style atmosphere and those dishes are GOOD!!! Makes me hungry thinking about it!! On the weekends they actually serve brunch until 2pm!!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!! This is a must do EVERYTIME we go to WDW now:tongue:

We also found a new fav for dinner, JIKO, at the AKL:teeth:

...but a beautiful hotel and a fun time can both be found at the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge. All you can eat breakfast -- eggs, bacon, sausage, etc -- served in a sizzling skillet by some whacky waiters and waitresses with funny names and real attitude. :p

Our favorite breakfast hands down is Fresh at the Dolphin and our favorite Character Breakfast is the one at the BC/YC. Great buffet and character breakfast with a beach party attire. You can see all the menus at www.allearsnet.com
