WDW Books/Guides?

I am just so excited about my upcomming trip to WDW this March! College and work keep me busy but WDW is always in the back of my mind!! Anyway, it will be my 4th trip to the World with my boyfriend and I was wondering if anyone knows any good books about Disney?.. sorta like an unofficial guide or something? I just want to know more information about Disney and what the parks have to offer! Thanks so much, it is greatly appreciated!!

Well, there is The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World Personally one of my favorites as they take a very realistic, humorous view of the parks and provide a lot of helpful information.

Well, there is The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World Personally one of my favorites as they take a very realistic, humorous view of the parks and provide a lot of helpful information.

This is the best guide. Where else can you find schedules detailing on long it takes to go to point A from B by your own car or bus. They also provide schedules in the book on how to get on the most rides in the shortest time. They actually sent people to Disney to time various ride combinations to get through the most. It has been the best guide that I have read.

I also like the Passporter... it has those handy pages with places to put all your info for ressies and confirmation numbers, copies of menus, etc.

I will be leaving the first week of March for 7 days. Right now my boyfriends mother is preparing the itinirary and we should know what day in the first week of march we are leaving. We definatly have to go the first week in March because it's our spring break so when I find out I will definatly let you's all know what dates are official

Geez, I really AM a geek! I cross reference the Unofficial guide, Passporter, and Birnbaum! (Hey, it's a 12 hour drive. I need something to do!)

There's also one that I saw in the bookstore the other day. I can't remember the exact name of the book, but it was something like, "The Cheapskate's Unofficial Guide..." Something like that. I started to read it and actually liked it alot. The author had a good sense of humor and hey, who doesn't like saving money?

I don't like the unofficial - those people have a BIG problem with someone telling them they are wrong. Although they are now a part of the Dis - so hopefully they won't get so defensive....
