WDW bakeries have white cakes?

I love any kind of cakes(a favorite dessert). My favorite is white cake. Does anyplace in WDW sell individual pieces of white cake? If not, any suggestions for any kind of good cakes at WDW?

I had the grapefruit cake at the Brown Derby. It was basically a yellow cake with a grapefruit flavored frosting, sounds weird but it was delicious! I think I read here on the dis, that you could get that cake to go at the Starring Rolls near Brown Derby? Maybe someone can confirm.

I also had a yellow Mickey bundt cake at the Main Street bakery and they had big white cupcakes there too. Both were yummy!

I used to get a piece of white cake with orange flavoring and orange frosting (as in the fruit not the color) at Coral Reef. But I think thats gone now!

Then at Mrs. Potts in the MK (near the Pooh ride) they have a strawberry shortcake. Its more of a white cake, pound cake type thing with strawberries whipping cream. Loved that one too.

Can you tell I also love my cake!

Jeesh - I wish I could remember the time frame, but I did a whole thread on cake! My favorite is white wedding cake, and I asked the same question you did! I mean, chocolate's okay, but bring me the white cake!!!

I love the ginger cake at Yakatori, which isn't white, but still is very light and airy! Chef's de France had a wonderful peice of white cake with chunks of real strawberries.

I also shared my recipe for chite cake and white frosting that I've had to perfect over time, to compensate for the lack of a good white cake!

Oh - I plan on trying Fountainview over in Epcot, supposed to have great cake of the day, but it's not always open.

No, sorry! But it was beautiful and very tasty! I'm not sure they serve it always, but I was glad they did during our meal there!
