We're planning our next Disney trip for just under 2 years from now and had planned on DLR again, as we have family in the LA area and like the visit, but based on just very preliminary research we may be able to spend less by going to WDW.

Thanksgiving at DLR is pretty darned busy. We went this past Thanksgiving week, including Thanksgiving day. Is it equally as busy at WDW, or because there are more parks, are the crowds more evenly spread out? Our other option is going the week of Christmas. How are those crowds?

Thanks!

We went to WDW this past Thanksgiving. It is busy at WDW....not as busy as Christmas, but busy. It was very crowded and on Thanksgiving day waits at the MK were insane....think 2 hours for SP. FP was great. If you manage it right, it is fun. Christmas is the busiest season at WDW though.

Thanksgiving is nice because the decorations are up.
