WDW AP Discounts

Are there any food/merch discounts for AP from WDW? Last year a CM gave me a discount at a restaurant but that was just one location and I think it may have just been a pixie dust moment! I'm so used to asking if a discount is available from being in WDW that I couldn't break the habit and got lucky!

No. At Disneyland they scan your AP to give you your discount as the percentage varies based on level of AP, so you would need a valid Disneyland or premier AP to get a discount. They do give DVC discounts if you are DVC and have your membership card.

Some places in Downtown Disney may give you something because they don’t scan the passes, if you flash it they just press a button on the register (specifically non-Disney owned places like Earl of Sandwich or Ralph Brennan’s Express). They’ve started adding an AP logo sticker on the front window when it is a place that accepts AP discounts.

Thank you! Now that I think of it I do believe it was a DT Disney location when they gave it to me.
