WDW Annual Pass Hotel Discounts

If I bought an annual pass to use for an upcoming trip, and used it book our hotels for our wedding next year - how far in advance do they give you annual pass discounts, and are they easily available?

Also could I book a hotel with a hotel with annual pass and check in with a different annual pass (as I will have a new one given to me complimentary as part of our wedding package)?

As long as you have an Annual Pass it's fine - I've booked before without even having a hard copy of it as yet when checking in.

Discounts vary depending on when you want to go - both wdwinfo and mousesavers give ace info on historical discounts but that's no indication of what may be on offer. Plus with Disney offering the various deals they are then it's anyone's guess as to what any AP offers may be in the future. With the change in focus on releasing park hours and reservations to 90 days, I think the trend will be more short term so Disney can assess occupany and take up before committing to anything.

I got great AP discount applied to my Wilderness Lodge booking last year. I was going in July and the discounts were released in May. I can't remember the date but I'm sure it was near the beginning of May.

Its a few months before, at the moment they go up to first few days in April, I am hoping the rest of April and early may are released soon as wont to compare prices with Disney UK.
