WDW 8/17-8/26 (updated 8/31 in new thread, see siggy or last post)

I’m hoping to squeeze time during our vacation to do some of the extra things – a water park, a carriage ride at Port Orleans, the Electric Water Parade, and maybe even a boat rental. I guess the planner in me will have to sit back a little, and see if we’re able to make some of those things happen. I’ve also been practicing a little bit with my camera, so I will hopefully have some good shots of the trip (not just the cut-off tops of people’s heads). :goodvibes

Overall though, I’m just happy to have the family spend time together – that’s what it’s really about, right?

Till next time…..

We have missed the EWP two years in a row!!! We will NOT miss it next summer!!! You'll have to let me know how it is. :goodvibes

I am LOVING your report! After 5 years of teaching, I think I'm pretty good at judging the parents and I can tell you are a VERY COOL MOM! :cool1:

I haven't seen La Nouba but I've been lucky enough to see 3 Cirque shows in Las Vegas. Each and every one was spectacular, worth every cent! I'm sure La Nouba won't disappoint!

I was looking all over for lime green last week! Wish you guys had been there! I would have waved to you! :wave2: I LOVE the t-shirts. Can you make me one? :rolleyes1

I too love buying teeny weeny toiletry items! Especially at Target! We have one down the street from our house...I could spend hours in that place. I highly highly recommend the bandaid brand blister block. We used it last week with our Croc flip flops & neither of us got a single hot spot, scrape, remnant of a blister. That stuff is AMAZING!!! :thumbsup2

Can't wait to read more about the trip!

HI!! You are doing a great job getting things done.:woohoo: Now MAKE A LIST!!

Tink did a great job on the envelopes .:thumbsup2 That's a cool idea,I think I will let Rebekah and Peyton do ours.

I know there was more I wanted to say but Rae is screamin'-gotta go be a mom for a little while.:upsidedow BYE!!

Thanks, you're so sweet! I'm not sure my daughter would necessarily agree with you, but we do our best, right? :hippie:

I'll be keeping my eyes open and hope to have some lime green sightings to report back....:dance3:

We have never seen it either -- so this time, I am determined.

Hi, another nobody checking in! Great report, love the shirts, and your Tink is adorable.
I am here via Nebo's trip report.

Which now has me going every time is see Nemo as being a misspelled word!!!!!!!!:rotfl: I know you will understand that reference!

My family has heard every detail of Nebo's travels - he's awesome! :woohoo:

Down to 3 days!!!! pirate:

Sounds great!!! :thumbsup2

You will be busy, but that's how it's suppose to be! I just realized you will be in Disney when my DD is getting married! So, 7pm on the 18th, think of me, in Connecticut at my daughters wedding! :bride:

Good luck to your DD (my parent's anniversary was the 18th, so I'm partial, but enjoy!)
Looking forward to hearing the TR-after staying at Dixie Landings/POR four times, we're branching out and trying POFQ. :)

THREE DAYS!! :cool1:

Dont forget to pack a journal to take notes, and take lots and lots of pictures!!

Did you print out the journal pages from the website... mousefor less I think... I'll go check!!
(yep that's it, under "Downloads", scroll to just for kids, click... http://www.mouseforless.com/downloads/kidsdownloads.shtml
lots of great things to print - and the journal pages are just easy to fill in - I get them into a folder and it makes a great keepsake!)

Well, it's the night before we leave. I just got home from my aerobics class, so I am now officially ;) on vacation...............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are packed (to the gills) and ready to shower, last minute stuff, then up at 4 tomorrow morning and off to the airport.

Thanks to all of you for reading. See you in about a week. :hippie:

Just found this great trippie! Please let me know how you like Bahama Breeze?

Have a magical trip!:wizard:

I think today is your leave day. :sad1: I hope you had a wonderful time and I can't wait to hear all about it!!

Hi there!
I was perusing the pre-trippies and recognized you from Nebo's! :)
I'm joining your group of "nobodies" so I can be here for the start of the TR!

Hope you had a great time with your family!

This is just a quick pop-in, but I wanted to report that we got home safely this afternoon. We had a great trip and unbelievable weather for August -- not a drop of rain until the last couple of days!

We took lots of pictures, with our own camera and with the photo pass guys, so I'll be working at getting them downloaded. I also took lots of notes, so you can follow along -- I'm warning you though, wear comfy shoes! :cool2: I wore a pedometer and we averaged 8 miles a day!

I'm hoping to post the first piece of the actual trip report in the next couple days -- after getting through 3 tons of laundry, the first day of school tomorrow, and catching up with the pile o papers sure to be awaiting me at work!!!

Thanks everyone for posting and I'll talk to you soon!!!! :hippie:
