Di just been dropped off on her last shift at the clinic and I am off to get some rest before the kids go to swimming lesson.

Last minute scare - when Di typed in our flight details the website said "unrecognised" , hence the mutterings from Di. One phone call later it was all cleared up. Apparently, and this is just hilarious, the code you have to enter is not given to you on your tickets, indeed its pretty much kept as a wee secret by Virgin. I guess this is all good fun to them but frankly that kind of behaviour can end in bloodshed!!!!!

Di, Grumpy & Things 1 & 2,

I don't have time to catch up on your antics (one can only imagine) or even to read the boards but I wanted to make time to invade your PreTR and wish you guys a fantastic, fabulous, fun, confection and booze filled (and unwanted hair free) trip. I'll be thinking about you guys tomorrow. I hope that your trip is both uneventful & quick and that you'll be neck deep in magic before you know it.

And don't forget that time honored American tradition- Buying holiday items on clearance the day after the holiday! Once you recover from the jet lag it will be time to start scarfing up all of the Halloween & NBC trinkets that you can get. Go to it! And make me proud .

Wish I could be there with you (really...actually with the way things are right now I wish that I could be just about anywhere but on holiday with a bunch of lunatic strangers sounds good too).

Ah, seperate seats might very well be a good thing then. We flew back like that and it was nice. I would imagine on a, what 8 hour flight, that kiddos can find a lot of fun annoying the you know what out of eachother. Mine sure would then somebody would get threatened to be thrown off the plane and all hell would break loose midflight.

We're back!!!!!!!!!

Had a fab fab fab fab fab fab time - so sorry it's all over - we seemed to have entered some kind of space/time continuum though, as there is no way we were away for 2 weeks.
Just unpacking and doing lots of at the moment, will try and get the TR started ASAP!

Hey Folks

Gutted to be back frankly but what a trip I will let Di spill the beans in her post-trip report but I can confirm that Biergarten was everything I had hoped, dear lord they serve beer in litres!!!!!!! I took a lot and I mean a lot of pics so it'll take a few days to get them sorted and uploaded so you will have to allow Di to paint pictures with words initially. There may also be a couple of video clips but they may require some editing and/or bleeping.

I am off to stare wistfully at my Stein and my NBC bobble-head.
