WDTC wouldn't let me pay off my reservation!

Hi

Because the £-$ exchange is so good right now (for the pound anyway) I called WDTC today to ask if I could pay off the balance for my trip this April.

The abruptly rude lady told me that it was stipulated on my booking (which it wasn't) that I could only pay the balance when I arrived at the resort and not before under any circumstances. I think I'll try calling again later and see if I get a different person, but does anyway know if this is true?

I booked online and used the 'Disney April Special' for one part of our resort stay. I tried accessing my reservation to see if I could pay it off via the website but apparently my telephone is invalid because it is international!

Any help, comments or advice appreciated!

disney turnng down $$$?? i would definitely call back. maybe ask to speak to a supervisor. i think you should be able to pay off the balance at any time! good luck.

On the off chance that they really will not take your money, why not buy some form of US dollar? Maybe travellers checks, unless the fees cancel out your savings.

I've never heard of not being able to pre-pay. I've booked thru WDTC before and have paid my balance before arrival. I just call and tell them to apply X$amt to credit card. No Problem. Try again.

You also might want to see about getting some Disney Dollars as well for your trip, if you have a Disney Store nearby.
