Morning All,

I'm off work poorly today so having a Disney planning day! lol! Like our trip isn't already over-planned!! :rotfl:

We don't tend to spend lots of time in WDS as our little fella is too small for most of the rides and has previsously been too young to sit through the shows. However this trip I think we will try and spend a bit more time there as he is a bit older. I could do the MK blindfolded but not WDS.

I wonder if someone could answer my questions:

1. TSPL - are any rides fastpassed? If we go straight there upon park opening will it be quiet or does everyone do that causing it to be mental?

2. Can someone explain to me exactly what the slinky dog ride is? Is it suitable for an 18month old?

3. Is the cars ride vigerous? Would that be suitable for an 18 month old?

4. How long does the playhouse Disney show last - is it worth it?

5. Any tips on somewhere quiet for a coffee? Not in the large fast food areas?

Thanks :goodvibes

Get well soon!

Nope, no fastpasses. Go there first thing (or after riding Crush's Coaster if you'd like to do that)

It's essentially the same ride as the teacups over in Disneyland park.

4. How long does the playhouse Disney show last - is it worth it?
It's approx 30 mins, and everybody (adults included) sit on the floor.
It's a very well done show, though.

5. Any tips on somewhere quiet for a coffee? Not in the large fast food areas?
There is a nice coffee kiosk with seating next to Restaurant des Stars in the Studios.
More info about it here

Thanks :goodvibes

Also one last question! EMH in WDS - does it exsist?
In theory yes, but they are very rare and only happen in high season

I took my son on cars on our last trip, he was 12 months old. It felt a bit quick for him. It's certainly more intense then the tea cups.

If you do take your 18 month old on it make sure you hold onto them very tightly!

We also took him on Slinky and it was fine. It does go faster then it looks in videos but it's good fun. Make sure you put your child on the inside seat (the CM's should tell you this) as it's far safer there.

We're just back and took our 16month old son Scott. We didn't get on Slinky Dog which was a real shame but it looked like it would be fine, it's really short and not too fast. My Aunt and my cousins wee boy went on the Cars ride and she said she thought it was probably too fast for Scott.

We loved the Playhouse Disney show, it's great with some nice surprises which Scott also loved. I would definatley recommend it. I think it lasts about 20mins, maybe less I can't quite remember.

I would also recommend Animagique - excellent show. And even though it's in the dark Scott was fine throughout most of it (just one small bit he was a bit nervous but was fine) and loved the music and Micky and Donald.

Have fun!!
