Who here collects WDCC figures? What is your theme/area of focus? Which is your favorite? Which character that has not been done do you want the most?

For me:

Like pins I collect Villains, Peter Pan. Unlike pins I also have the Jungle Book series and a few other odd peices. The Evil Queen holding the Heart Box and King Louie are my 2 favorites. I think the sculptor captured both of these characters perfectly!! I would love to see a Kaa figure, the boa constrictor, to complete the Jungle book series.

We have a few...about 5 of the yearly free sculpt, Ben Ali Gator from Fantasia, Pooh's tree and some of the minitures for it, and 2 Maleficent's one in human form, one in dragon form standing on the bridge to block Prince Phillip.

I one I really wanted and still don't have is the Chernabog, naturally.

I also only have a few of these and have not really found a direction I want yet... The art work put in to these is fantastic and very eye catching.

I have most of the pieces from the first 5 years and was a member for 10 years. I had to stop because my disposable income wasn't so disposable anymore when our twins were born.

I haven't collected pieces in a while because my 3 kids always seem to need new clothes and they want to eat 3 times a day. I have tried to feed them only once a day but they kept telling people that I never fed them. LOL

One day I'll go back to collecting them again.

Been a member of the WDCS for 5 years. I have MM & Donald from "Mickey's Fire Brigade," but did not buy Goofy b/c I didn't like it.

Last year when the Robin Hood set came out, I went nuts. That's my fav Disney movie, so I got the entire set. I went even more bonkers when I read in Sketches that they were releasing Sir Hiss & Prince john (my fav villian). I buy my pieces at the Art of Disney at DTD, but they sold out right away (only got a couple of sets in). I will check again this weekend when I work - thank God for my CM discount!

I also have several cels and framed pin sets. I have a framed uncut sheet of the 1998 annual pass for DL. That comes with some pins & autographs of those artists who worked on the renovations done to tomorrowland.

Great thread, Dom! We need to talk about other stuff sometimes!

I have mostly just the gift sculpture for the years I have been a member, but recently got the Captain Mickey from the cruise (cruiseline exclusive) I really like that one!

I also bought a couple off of ebay for some really great prices.

I have gobs of them.

All of the "annual" figures + The complete "Symphony Hour" set, The Electrical Parade set, Fire brigade set, On Ice set, Finding Nemo set, Aristocats set, Cannie Caddy set + some assorted individual pieces.

Don't eat well, but I collect well.

We have all the free membership renewal pieces from the last 10 years. When I retired, I got "The Simple Things - Somethin' Fishy". Also have "On Ice - Whee - Minnie Mouse.
We are also Disneyana people, so I have 5 different pieces from previous conventions including two Goebel pieces (Mickey & Donald as the Travelers and Mickey & Pluto Movie Makers).

I own a mismosh of them...ones that really appeal to me...I have some Lady & Tramp, plus the xmas scene of them...lots of different Mickey's, some Donald pieces, some Bambi, the mice from Cinderella...and the whole scene from Pluto's Christmas...I too have to watch spending, it can become an obsession...LOL...but the pieces I have are mostly characters that I like. Oh, I also have the new Chip N Dale...too cute

I only recently joined wdcc, and i recieved the bambi statue and bought the thumper to match it, I have also just invested in the stitch statue.

I am hoping to be bale to find the halloween statues i love halloween
